Since 1978, the Country Club of Hudson has hosted the Hudson Junior Invitational. Since then it continues to flourish as one of the most prestigious junior tournaments in the country. There are a handful of older events, but few as distinguished. Annually we receive nearly 300 applicants with only 144 spots for the top boys and girls from around Ohio and the world. The event alumni are distinguished, the “who’s played" list is comprised of some of the greatest golfers in the world. Seven former HJI participants have gone on to win at least one Major Championship since they turned professional. A majority of the boys and girls, now men and women, are not walking inside the ropes and playing golf for a living, instead they are company president’s, doctors, lawyers, teachers, moms and dads, all of whom have a bond that they played in this illustrious 54-hole tournament. We believe this event is about preserving the future of golf, and life. Evident in our commitment to values established by our event founders, we remain committed to hosting the best event possible along with continuing to support over a dozen local charitable organizations for over 40 years.
