Country Club of Hudson

Our Host since 1978

The Country Club of Hudson has hosted the Hudson Junior Invitational since 1978.  Started by club member Howard Cassell with the goal to create a first class event that showcased the great local talent on the golf course, the event quickly gained national attention as the talent continued to make annual pilgrimage to the tournament and then later becoming an international destination as the events notoriety continued to reach South America, Europe and Asian based juniors.

Now the event annually showcases the talent of 144 Juniors with a field comprised of both boys and girls.  Former participants have gone on to win high school state championships, NCAA Championships, LPGA & PGA Tournaments and Major Championships in addition to earning college degrees, becoming doctors or teachers, fathers and mothers.  The Alumni list is distinguished, and illustrious. Even with all of the amazing accolades and springboards that surround the event, the most important thing to remember though is that the Hudson Junior Invitational has stayed true to the mission established many years ago and that is to create a great event, promote local golfers, support educational opportunities and give back to local charities.

The Country Club of Hudson is proud to annual host this important event.  As the golf tournament has grown, the golf course has also grown up.  The trees are a little bigger, the greens are a little faster and like clockwork, every June since 1978 the club puts on a fabulous tournament made up of hard working staff, incredible volunteers and a membership that cares about the success.
